2007年2月2日，北京生命科學(xué)研究所舉辦全天學(xué)術(shù)報告會。講座者主要為研究所第五次海外公開招聘入選、來所進(jìn)行第二次面試和實地考察的五位PI： Xuewu Zhang博士(Department of Molecular and Cell Biology, University of California, Berkeley), Niu Huang博士(Departments of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Biopharmaceutical Sciences, University of California, San Francisco), Mengqiu Dong( Department of Cell Biology, The Scripps Research Institute), Lilin Du博士(Department of Molecular Biology , The Scripps Research Institute)和Wenhui Li博士(Department of Microbiology & Molecular Genetics, Harvard Medical School)。另外還邀請了Bruce Lahn博士（Department of Human Genetics, University of Chicago；Investigator, HHMI）來所演講。
